About

Reclaimed Roots Network is a grassroots community initiative that sets out to bridge the gap between child welfare and the Church. We believe foster care is more than a system—it’s a sacred space where stories are being rewritten. Through trauma-informed training, reunification support, and holistic resources for foster youth, birth families, caregivers, and caseworkers, we help churches become safe, steady roots in the chaos of crisis. We’re not here to rescue—we’re here to reclaim. To restore dignity. To show up when others step back. Because the Church was never meant to stand on the sidelines of broken stories. We also serve to stand in the gap and help connect biological families, Kinship families, and foster families to the support they need for the kids in their care. We aim to meet needs quickly and practically.

Mission

To equip churches and communities to become trauma-informed, reunification-minded support hubs for foster youth, birth families, caregivers, and caseworkers—restoring dignity, connection, and long-term healing in the heart of every story.

Vision

Reclaimed Roots envisions a world where foster care is no longer a system of survival, but a sacred opportunity for restoration — where families in crisis are met with dignity, churches become trauma-informed hubs of hope, and every child finds belonging in a community that doesn’t give up.

We believe in reclaiming what was lost — in families, in faith, in identity — and rooting it in love, healing, and generational change.

Every root begins in unseen soil — quiet, vulnerable, and full of potential. That’s where Reclaimed Roots begins, too. We are planting something sacred: a movement where foster care is met not with fear, but with faith… not with shame, but with support… not with broken systems alone, but with a community that shows up. Your donation helps us create that community — one resource, one family, one story at a time.

Your generosity helps us reclaim what systems alone cannot fix. Donations go directly toward:

  • Crisis Response Kits for birth families, foster families, and kinship caregivers (diapers, formula, hygiene, gas cards, etc.)

  • Resource & Restoration Events for families in crisis, reunification support, and caregiver encouragement

  • Church Training & Trauma-Informed Curriculum to help communities show up well

  • Rooted Goods mission-aligned products that create awareness and passive fundraising

  • Long-term infrastructure for national impact, including our volunteer network, outreach app, and story-driven advocacy
